If possible, take time out for yourself after the session to rest and recover.
Try to allow the images, insights and feelings from the session to settle and integrate. There isn’t a great need to figure anything out or try to understand everything that happened. It can be helpful to meditate/visualize with the healing image or resolution from your session for 30 days or more. Sometimes it's about feeling different more than thinking differently.
The amount of time to integrate is different for everyone. Some people feel immediate changes and some people experience a worsening of symptoms. It can be challenging to physically let go of loyalties and entanglements that have lived in your body for so long. Some changes take time. Be kind and gentle with yourself. Drink plenty of water, eat nourishing foods and sleep as you much as you need.
It is sometimes recommended that you limit talking about what happened with friends or family to avoid stepping back into the story that was released or interrupting the healing process. Use your intuition.
