Anatomy & Physiology for Ortho-Bionomy Workshop
From a Bodywork Perspective (Online)

In this online course, Anatomical and physiological structures and functions relevant to the practice of Ortho- Bionomy are presented in this class from a bodywork perspective. We will look at the main systems of the body relevant to OB from a holistic viewpoint. We will explore A & P from the understanding that the human body is guided by a natural self-correcting intelligence.
Our textbook will be Job’s Body by Deane Juhan (Third Edition), the most widely used resources in therapeutic bodywork. The class will include reading guides for Job’s Body, videos and additional readings. Group discussion is an important part of each class. Reading guides need to be completed before each class. Classes will be recorded.
This course will be 11 three-hour sessions every three weeks. There will be required reading and homework for each time we meet.

Completion of this course will provide you with 33 SOBI units of Anatomy and Physiology. This course is approved by NCBTMB for 32 CEU units.

If you miss class you will need to review the recording, send me a copy of your completed homework and answer any additional questions regarding the webinar discussions or additional reading or viewing materials. Students who have excessive absence may not receive credit for this course. You must inform Barry Krost (barrykrost@mac.com) if you will be absent before the start of each class.
Barry Krost has been a Bodywork and Energy Healing Practitioner for 40 years. He is a Registered Instructor and Advanced Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy®, a Family Constellations Facilitator and Transformational Life Coach. A graduate of the Chicago School of Massage, Barry has many hours of training in Bodywork & Energy Healing approaches in over 20 healing modalities.
He began his studies of Ortho-Bionomy in 1991, is a former President of the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International and has been a board member. Barry has been teaching massage and bodywork continuing education since 1992 and an Approved Provider of continuing education for NCBTMB. Barry has a BA in Anthropology, a MA in History and a was trained as a in high school social studies teacher.
