"The experience of Barry's session was almost, hard for me to grasp at first. I had been dealing with so much harsh distortions of my family during my childhood that as an adult it still lingered. My family felt as if they were stuck in time but I was in the present. I wasn't sure where this would lead me, but the experience of the session was surreal, it was as if the players were all in the room. It resolved the past in a way that created an overwhelming peace that embraced me.

 

While I had questioned, why my mom and siblings were so hateful, what showed up instead was a reconnection that needed to be made with my father and the bond we needed to remember.
