About Me
Barry Krost, MA, LMT, NCTMB has been a Bodyworker and Energy Healer for 27 years. He is an Advanced Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy®. A graduate of the Chicago School of Massage, Barry has over 3500 hours of training in Massage, Bodywork and Energy Healing modalities.
He is a certified Family and Systemic Constellations facilitator
following
a year long training with Scott Bader, DC, Peter De Vries and Volker
Frank in San Diego.
Barry has continued to add new modalities to his practice from Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue in his earliest of days to more holistic forms of therapy. Resolving back pain naturally and trauma have been a key focus over the years.

His training has also included: Active Assisted Stretching, Aromatherapy, Chakra Balancing,
Chapman’s Reflexes, Deep Tissue Massage, Lymph Drainage Therapy, Mobilizations,
Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Positional Release, Reflexology,
Rolfing, Sports Massage, Strain Counter-Strain, Swedish Massage, Toning, Trigger
Point, Trager, TRE exercises, Transpersonal Healing, Visceral Manipulation, Zero Balancing and Zone Therapy.
Barry is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Illinois: #227.011071. He is also
a "Certified Massage Therapist" through the California Massage
Therapy Council: #14575
He is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB) from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and he is a Certified Bodywork Therapist with Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
Barry earned a BA in Anthropology, a MA in History and is certified in High School Social Studies instruction.

He has been training in Tai Chi Chuan (Wu and Yang) and Chi Kung for many years; most recently with Master Horacio Lopez. He also has studied, Transcendental Meditation, the Art of Living breathing techniques, yoga and Hanna's Somatics.
